Ladies Football
Like to keep fit doing something you really enjoy, have a laugh with your friends, come along and enjoy Gaelic Football. New players welcome. Training every Tuesday at 7pm.
Club AGM
The Club AGM will take place at 5pm on Saturday 16th. Everyone should have received their notification by now and we are looking forward to a good turn-out to review 2009 and plan for 2010.
Juvenile Meeting
There will be a meeting of juvenile mentors on January 14th at 8pm, to finalise team mentors for the coming year. All should attend.
Coaching Restarts
All age groups up to 10 years are due to start back training on Saturday 16th of January weather permitting. If the weather hasn’t thawed out by then hopefully the following Saturday will see training getting underway. These are the times:
Age 5-6 – 12 noon to 1pm.
Age 7-8 – 11am to 12 noon.
Age 9- 10 – 1pm to 2pm
All the sessions will take place on the Astro-turf pitch.
New Hurling Alley
The Hurling Alley will be ready for use by Saturday 23rd January. This is a further major investment by the Club for the future generations of Cnoc Síon Hurlers.
All our players from age 5 upwards will be able to avail of this top class facility to improve their wrist work and skills. We will be arranging a coaching course for our coaches so that they can make the best use of the alley by learning appropriate drills for the players to practice.
Entertainment for January
Every Thursday night darts takes place while every Friday night cards takes place. During January the following music entertainment takes place at the Club Centre on Saturday nights. All are welcome.
16th – C&M Sound (Carl and Martin).
23rd – Dick & Dave.
30th – Jedi.
