Season Greetings
I would like to take this chance to wish all our club members a Merry Christmas and a Peaceful New Year.
In house Draw
Last Wednesday we had our in-house draw, which was a great success. A special word of thanks must go to Josie Evans who does tremendous work in Fundraising. Also to all the people who helped sell tickets throughout the year, its much appreciated.
Get Well Soon
We wish Cathal Dower a speedy recovery after his short stay is hospital from all your friends at Mount Sion.
Medal Presentation Events
We held both our two juvenile presentations last week. It was great to see so many parents attend these events. Well done to all those who received their awards and we look forward to seen ye all back on the pitch in the new year!
Dates for your Diary
The Adult AGM will take place on Sunday, January 2nd 2011 at 3pm. Official notification will be sent out in the coming week. All members are welcome to attend as we plan for 2011.
Monday the 10th January is the day picked for the AGM of the Juvenile section, so we would ask all the existing Juvenile mentors and anyone wishing to get involved with the Juveniles in 2011 to keep that evening free. The meeting will start at 8pm.
Coaching
All coaching and training has now finished for the rest of the year. It will start up again in mid January so keep an eye on the Club Notes in the paper for the starting date.
Club Gear
We now have in stock a range of Juvenile and Adult sportswear which could be an excellent present for Christmas. Stock includes, Jerseys, new style hoodys, shorts, socks, shower-proof jackets, tracksuits and gear bags. Please enquire at the bar. If an item you need is out of stock, you can order it by filling out an Order Form also available from the Bar Staff.
Entertainment
During December the following music entertainment takes place at the Club Centre on Saturday nights. All are welcome.
Sunday 26th December – DJ. Mick Kenny.
Saturday 31st December – Just Us.
