Mount Sion Gaa Club Notes

The GYM

Over the last number of months the club has built a gym through many of our club members giving up their free time and expertise. The gym is open to all members and keys are to be signed in and out from the Bar. It is suggested that you would leave a donation in the donation’s box behind the bar when you use the gym. All money received will be used to buy more equipment for the gym.

The club would like to thank all the volunteers who gave up their free time in the construction of the gym and the benefits that it will bring to the club will hopefully be seen in seasons to come.

The Interview Room

On Tuesday we had Ben Flanagan in as our new Juvenile Interviewee and on Thursday John O’Keeffe was in as our Adult Interviewee!

Thanks to all those who participated in the Interviews for 2011. I hope to keep it running for a little bit into 2012, with a new venture happening hopefully in the spring or early summer. To see the lad’s answers and all the lads who have participated over the last number of months, get onto the website and look for the interview room or juvenile interview room under the news tab. www.mountsiongaa.ie .

New Juvenile interviews are added every Tuesday and adult interviews are added on Thursdays. If you would like to take part, have a chat with Savo.

Last Man Standing

The Last Man Standing Competition was finally won by Josh Fanning after two quick rounds in one week. Well done Josh. The next one will be re-starting soon. So get your name and money in behind the bar. See our “The Last Man Standing” Page on the website under the news tab!

Chess Club

Chess club takes place every Tuesday night in the club at 9:30pm. We hope to see the regular faces and some new ones up next Tuesday.

Darts & Cards

Darts and Cards for club members. Come along and join in the fun. Darts takes place every Thursday night with Cards on Friday nights, both starting around 10pm. Great prizes on offer!! All Club Members are welcome.

Training Times

Training will be restarting up for 2012 in the coming few weeks. Once I receive the information and times, it will be available both on the weekly notes and the website calendar. We hope to see ye all back in January/February!!
