Catherine is sister to Dando Kelly and Aunt to two of our adult players Daniel and Pat Kelly. Condolences to her husband Fabian and children Audrey and Bryan. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
Under 14
Our Under 14s took on De La Salle in the Eastern Final last Saturday evening in Mount Sion. Our lads came up against an excellent side from the Cleaboy and ran out comfortable winners. This young Sion side will learn from the game and many of these players are still under age for next year. Well done on the year, and many of ye will be in action again next weekend for the Under 15 Eastern Final. Best of luck.Ladies Football
The Ladies Footballers competed in the Co. Final of the 11 a side competition last Saturday afternoon. The girls put in a mighty effort throughout. They led at the break by four points after a Rachel Beckett goal midway through the half. Dungarvan came out very strong in the second half and hit point after point with our girls trying their best to defend their half time lead. But alas the Dungarvan girls took the lead and ran out comfortable winners in the end. Hard luck to the girls and their manager Johnny Cleary.Club Website
