Mount Sion GAA Club Notes
Tony Browne
The big news in the GAA world this week has been Tony Browne’s retirement from Inter County Hurling after over twenty years of sterling service to Waterford’s senior team , it is a testament to the esteem in which Tony is held from the amount of tributes that poured in from all corners of the country from sporting and non sporting fields .Tony’s attitude and professionalism have always been exemplary while playing for both club and county and this is reflected in the respect and admiration he has received . At Mount Sion we’re delighted that Tony will continue to line out at club level and true to the character of the man in the black helmet next week is business as usual as he prepares for the first round of the Club Championship on Saturday.Speedy Recovery
