Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

La Na gClub

The annual La Na gClub took place on Saturday last and as usual was a great success, the dunk tank proved to be very  popular with some well known faces taking a dip while the bouncy castle was busy all day, Pasddy’s Pride rounded off the day with music in the bar, thanks to everyone who helped out and to all the young lads who brought in their sponsorship cards.

Under 14s

The Under 14s played two matches during the week against De La  Salle and Roanmore and were unlucky in both games to lose out by the minimum of scores, unlucky lads but keep up the good work and the results will start coming, the lads have a break now until the middle of July for their next match.

Under 9 Tournament

Our Under 9 tournament takes place on Saturday and promises to be a great day with clubs from all around the country taking part, please  check out Twitter and Facebook for further details.

Quiz Night

A special general knowledge quiz night  in aid of the Under 14 Feile team takes place in the club on Tuesday 17  June starting at 9pm, table of 4 costs 20 euro and there will be some nice spot prizes on the night, all are welcome so come along to what promises to be an enjoyable night.

All Star Challenge

Tickets are selling well for the Ken McGrath All Star challenge match and the All Ireland preview in the club after the game, don’t be disappointed and make sure to get your tickets in plenty of time for both events.

Deise Draw

Unfortunately we’ve had no winners so far in this year’s Deise draw. Tickets  are still available for the next draws from Josie Evans or from the bar. Please contact Josie Evans (087-0686700) to join and more importantly to make sure you are in with a chance to scoop the top prize of €10,000!!! . Tickets are €10 per month for nine months. You can either pay up front or per month by leaving the money behind the bar. 70% of the money raised will go directly back to Mount Sion. Best of luck to all our ticketholders!

Darts & Cards

Darts and Cards for club members. Come along and join in the fun. Darts takes place every Thursday night with Cards on Friday nights, both starting around 10pm. Great prizes on offer!! All Club Members are welcome.
