All roads lead to Walsh Park next Sunday for our first Senior County final in eight years and it’s great to see the Blue and White of Cnoc Sion proudly flying all over the city as the lads prepare to take on old rivals Ballygunner for the News and Star trophy ,well done to everyone for getting involved with putting up the flags and bunting to show their support, all involved with the club wishes the team and mentors all the best for the big day and here’s hoping come five o clock next Sunday we’ll all be celebrating !
Dartathon
In the club on Thursday last the Roche family made a presentation of 3445 euro to Dr Gordon Watson of the South East Radiotherapy trust ,the proceeds of the recent dartathon held by the Mount Sion darts club in memory of our late Life President Dick Roche , thanks again to everyone who contributed and helped this very worthy fundraiser.
Deise Draw
No winners again this month , hopefully when October’s draw is held in the club we’ll have a winner or two !Tickets are still available for the next draws from Josie Evans or from the bar. Please contact Josie Evans (087-0686700) to join and more importantly to make sure you are in with a chance to scoop the top prize of €10,000!!! . Tickets are €10 per month for nine months. You can either pay up front or per month by leaving the money behind the bar. 70% of the money raised will go directly back to Mount Sion. Best of luck to all our ticketholders!
