The annual Easter Camp took place last week for our younger boys and girls and it was a great success as usual, thanks to all our coaches mentors and players who gave up their time over the two days to make the camp so enjoyable for everyone.
Under 11’s
The U11s got off to a good start in the City League on Friday night last in the club with a hard fought win against Roanmore, next up is De La Salle on Monday week with another tough game on the cards, panel on the night was Evan Mackey, Cormac Dunphy ,Davin Marshall, Dylan Ryan, Jamie Meaney, Lee Flanagan, Hugh Flanagan, Conor Walsh, Adam Deegan, Jake Marks,Scott Ryan, Jack Cowman, Paul Keane, Daniel Butler and Robbie Kelly, well done lads.
Last Man Standing
After a tense last week we finally have a winner in our Last Man Standing, well done to Niamh Sauvage who is our youngest winner so far and outwitted a lot of the older heads in the competition ! Thanks as usual to everyone who took part this year and there’ll be a new competition coming up in the new season.
Membership
Membership is now overdue so if you have not done so yet please leave the money behind the bar or contact club registrar Paul Fanning, all rates can be found on the membership page of the website.
Deise Draw
The 2015 Deise draw is now up and running and tickets for the next draws are still available. Tickets cost €10 a month with the club keeping 70% of the tickets sold. I.e. €7 a ticket.This year we are delighted to announce that Elverys Sports are the Offical Retail Partner to Waterford GAA. A 15% Discount Voucher will be available, on request through the club, to all members of the Déise Draw. Please leave money and names at bar or contact draw co-ordinator Josie Evans if you’d like to support our biggest yearly fundraiser.
