Stars in their Eyes

Mount Sion proudly present “Stars in their Eyes” in the centre on November 28th with some high profile acts taking to the stage living out their dreams as their favourite artists, rehearsals are coming along very well and the performers are looking forward to strutting their stuff on the night, be sure to get there early for a great nights entertainment!

Deise Draw

The Deise Draw for 2015 has now finished. As this year there were only eight draws the club will be running a ninth draw with guaranteed Mount Sion winners. Entry is ten euro with half of the amount collected going back in prize money. If you’ve paid in full for nine Deise Draws you’ll be automatically put into this draw. Those who are members of the Deise Draw for four draws or more can purchase a ticket for this draw which will take place in Mount Sion on December 20th in conjunction with the Christmas raffle. Thanks to all those who supported the fundraiser during the year and to Josie for all her hard work organising it for us.

Club A.G.M.

The annual general meeting of the club takes place on Sunday December 6th at 3pm , there are many important topics up for discussion and all members are encouraged to attend.

 

Condolences

The club offers its deepest sympathies to the family of Frankie Cooney who sadly passed away during the week, ar Dheis de go raibh a anam.

Last Man Standing

Last Man Standing is coming into the final few weeks with only a handful of players left standing. Check out the updated table on the website and don’t forget to get your teams into Tina by Thursday.

Fixtures

The Under 21 Eastern final against either Ballygunner or De La Salle is scheduled to take place in early December and we will keep everyone informed as soon as we have the details.

Mount Sion Clubhouse

Our club house is the perfect venue for your needs, if you have a family event coming up we can cater for all size parties from small private events to large gatherings, we have a spacious function room with private bar available for hire for all occasions including Birthdays, Christenings, Weddings, Confirmations, Communions, etc, please contact our Bar Manager Michael Ryan for more information on 051-372648 or call up and see him

For a post match drink or chat or to watch the latest sporting event on the big screen we have all the Sports channels available in our spacious bar where on Thursday nights it’s Darts night and on Fridays we have cards which are open to all and there are great prizes on offer, check out our website for more info and photos.
