Cul Camps

This year’s Kelloggs Cul Camp takes place in the club from 25th to 29th July, each child receives free Kellogg’s GAA gear and backpack, to celebrate the return of Cúl Camps Kellogg’s are giving the chance to win €5,000 worth of training gear for your team plus a €500 voucher to spend on your family, to enter pick up a promotional pack of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies or Kellogg’s new 5 Grain or Nutty Chewy bars and then follow the steps to register your child for a Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp. You will need the last 4 digits of the barcode of your Kellogg’s promotional pack and to answer a simple question. Kelloggs Cul Camps 2016

Munster Final

It was a bad day for the Waterford hurlers in Limerick on Sunday as they lost out to Tipperary in the Munster Final, we all know this is a better team than the result suggests and that they can come out in two weeks against Wexford and continue on in this year’s Championship.

Condolences

The club wishes to extend deepest sympathies to Senior selector Ger Fitzpatrick on the death of his mother Mary in Kilkenny recently, ar dheis De go raibh a h-anam.

Deise Draw

June’s Deise Draw took place in Flynn’s Bar Ferrybank recently and Sion had their first two winners of the year, well done to Hannah Power and Collette Phelan who won €200 each.This is one of the main fundraisers for the club and we would encourage as many members and their families as possible to participate, as well as helping your club you are also in a great draw with many good prizes on offer. For information please contact our Club Co-ordinator Josie Evans (087) 068 6700.

Mount Sion Clubhouse

Our club house is the perfect venue for all  your needs, only recently it made it into a list of the ten most unusual places in Ireland to have your wedding ! If you have a family event coming up we can cater for all size parties from small private events to large gatherings, we have a spacious function room with private bar available for hire for all occasions including Birthdays, Christenings, Weddings, Confirmations, Communions, etc, please contact our Bar Manager Michael Ryan for more information on 051-372648 or call up and see him

For a post match drink or chat or to watch the latest sporting event on the big screen we have all the Sports channels available in our spacious bar where on Thursday nights it’s Darts night , on Fridays we have cards which are open to all and there are great prizes on offer, check out our website for more info and photos.
