Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

All Ireland Semi Final

What a great performance on Sunday by the Waterford Senior hurlers as they were denied their first Championship win over Kilkenny on over 50 years well done to all involved and best of luck in the replay next Satutdsy .

Senior League

The rearranged Senior League game against Tallow took place on a terrible night for hurling on Saturday night last with Sion running out winners on a 1-15 to 0-13 scor line, due to the All Ireland Semi Final replay next Saturday the rescheduled Championship game against Cappoquin has had to be put off once more to a later date .

 

Deise Draw

July’s Deise Draw took place in BallyMacarbary on Friday night last and unfortunately we had no winners.This is one of the main fundraisers for the club and we would encourage as many members and their families as possible to participate, as well as helping your club you are also in a great draw with many good prizes on offer. For information please contact our Club Co-ordinator Josie Evans (087) 068 6700.
