Following their hard fought win over Kilkenny on Sunday last Waterford’s first home game of the campaign takes place next Sunday when All Ireland champions Tipperary roll into town to face the Deise in Walsh Park, best wishes to all involved and don’t forget after the game there will be music in the club house and ample opportunity to discuss the main talking points of the game.
Membership
It’s that time of year again when membership comes up for renewal, as a club we are very competitive with our rates and would ask all our members to make the effort to pay as soon as they can, rates can be found on the membership page on the website.
New Darts League
With the The Mount Sion Darts league returning for 2017 on Thursday February 23rd the closing date for entries is this Friday February 17th, as in 2016this will be run on a league basis with a finals night taking place in the summer, all proceeds go to the Juvenile club, anyone interested in taking part can contact organiser Kenny Stafford on 087 6161222.
Mount Sion Clubhouse
Our club house is the perfect venue for all your needs, only recently it made it into a list of the ten most unusual places in Ireland to have your wedding ! For a post match drink or chat or to watch the latest sporting event on the big screen we have all the Sports channels available in our spacious bar where on Thursday nights it’s Darts night , on Fridays we have cards which are open to all and there are great prizes on offer, check out our website for more info and photos.
