Darts League

The Darts league got underway on Thursday last with two groups of players playing their first games, results and league tables can be seen on the page on the website.Darts League

Get Well Soon

Best wishes to one of our young hurlers Davin Marshall who is recovering from an appendix operation, get well soon Davin from all your team mates and friends and hopefully it won’t be long before you’re back up and about.

Deise Draw

This year’s Deise draw gets underway in May, there is a new format for 2017 with 6 draws in total, tickets cost €15 with the 1st prize increasing from €10,000 to €12,500 , there will also be increases on the other prizes, with the club getting 70% of the ticket price this is a major fundraiser and we would encourage as many members as possible to buy tickets, for any enquiries please contact Kenny Stafford.

Waterford Season Ticket

Support Cnoc Sion in all their games and get great value with a season ticket.The Waterford GAA Club Season ticket activations will take place on Tuesday evening from 4pm to 6pm in Walsh Park, those who might not be able to make these times and were season ticket holders in 2016 and are renewing can purchase tickets in Elverys or Ger Wyleys and post the competed voucher to Walsh Park for activation.
If you have already sent vouchers to Walsh Park your new 2017 cards are in the post.
Tickets can also be bought at these times for €130 for adults and €80 for OAPs.

Stewards Course

CLG Port Láirge are holding a Course for voluntary stewards to assist with major games in Waterford to ensure that there is a quality level of stewarding at all venues. Stewards may be called occasionally to work at some of the major Munster venues.

Conditions: -  over18.  Available to steward at weekends (average of 10 – 12 events annually – on a rota basis, fit and active, friendly, courteous, enthusiastic.

Stewards will be trained and accredited by the GAA National Health & Safety Committee and the course is monitored by the Portobello Institute who will be present.

Course Details: –

  •   Venue Lawlor’s Hotel Dungarvan
  •   6.00 pm to 9.00 pm on Friday 3rd March, 2017
  •   9.00 pm to 12.00 pm on Saturday 4th March, 2017

Membership

It’s that time of year again when membership comes up for renewal, as a club we are very competitive with our rates and would ask all our members to make the effort to pay as soon as they can, rates can be found on the membership page on the website.

Mount Sion Clubhouse

Our club house is the perfect venue for all  your needs, only recently it made it into a list of the ten most unusual places in Ireland to have your wedding ! If you have a family event coming up we can cater for all size parties from small private events to large gatherings, we have a spacious function room with private bar available for hire for all occasions including Birthdays, Christenings, Weddings, Confirmations, Communions, etc, please contact our Bar Manager Michael Ryan for more information on 051-372648 or call up and see him

For a post match drink or chat or to watch the latest sporting event on the big screen we have all the Sports channels available in our spacious bar where on Thursday nights it’s Darts night , on Fridays we have cards which are open to all and there are great prizes on offer, check out our website for more info and photos.
