Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

Re-decoration

The bar is looking very well after the recent re-decoration and we would like to thank Stephen Davis and his team in Colourtrend who very kindly did the work free of charge, check out the photos on the facebook page. Colourtrend provide 100% Irish premium acrylic paint which provides the toughest finish which can be seen in our newly decorated clubhouse. Why not call in and see Stephen and the lads down in Colourtrend if you have any decorating work coming up and they’d be delighted to help you.

Christmas Day Swim

Following the Christmas Day swim the Galgey family presented the Juvenile club with a cheque for over €1800 recently, on hand was Juvenile Chairman Michael Flanagan who thanked Paul Galgey and family for raising such a tidy sum for our young teams.

2oK Drop

Plans are well underway for the 20K Drop taking place on 24th February at 8pm, we now have our main sponsors in place and on 24th January we will be hosting a special media launch night in the club which we are hoping for a good turnout from our members, also check out the video made by Pallas marketing which is available on all the usual social media platforms.

Camogie

Mount Sion Camogie coaching restarts this week. 8-12 year olds 6-7 pm Mondays in the club hall downstairs in the club house, bring runners.
4-7 year olds 6-7pm Wednesdays in the Carickpherish sports hall cost €2.
Hope to see all the regulars there and new players are always welcome.

Mount Sion Clubhouse

Our club house is the perfect venue for all your needs. If you have a family event coming up we can cater for all size parties from small private events to large gatherings, we have a spacious function room with private bar available for hire for all occasions including Birthdays, Christenings, Weddings, Confirmations, Communions, etc, please contact our Bar Manager Michael Ryan for more information on 051-372648 or call up and see him

Coming up in 2018 we have a great new programme of entertainment taking place in the club with Tina and her committe working hard to bring a variety of acts to the club, more details to follow, check out our website for more info and photos.
