Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

Parade

As usual our juvenile club participated in the parade on St Patrick’s day on Saturday last and despite the cold weather we had a fantastic turnout from both our hurling and camogie players, well done to all involved and check out the gallery on the website for all the photos.

Club Gear

Camogie

Mount Sion Camogie coaching continues this week. 8-12 year olds 6-7 pm Mondays in the astro turf, bring runners.
4-7 year olds 6-7pm Wednesdays in the Carrickpherish sports hall cost €2.
Hope to see all the regulars there and new players are always welcome.

Under 16 Football V Clashmore/Kinsalebeg in Mount Sion on Sunday 25th March at 11am.

Membership

Membership for 2018 is now due, details of our membership rates are available on the page which this year include Deise draw tickets, thanks to everyone who has paid up so far and we would ask all other members to ensure they’re paid up by the end of the month, for any details please contact club registrar Paul Galgey. Membership

Development Plans

The Club Donation/Development Fund is still up and running and is a vital source of funding to keep our club going forward for this and the next generations to come, while we still need fundraisers like the 20K Drop to fund the running of the club our Donation Scheme is the major way to finace our capital projects, to find out more about the scheme and for details on joining please see the page on the website.  Club Development

Ladies Football

Ladies football is back again for 2018, training takes place on the astroturf on Sundays 11-12 for all girls aged 13 and older! We’re delighted to see some new players and a few more would be most welcome !

Mount Sion Clubhouse

Our club house is the perfect venue for all your needs. If you have a family event coming up we can cater for all size parties from small private events to large gatherings, we have a spacious function room with private bar available for hire for all occasions including Birthdays, Christenings, Weddings, Confirmations, Communions, etc, please contact our Bar Manager Michael Ryan for more information on 051-372648 or call up and see him

Coming up in 2018 we have a great new programme of entertainment taking place in the club with Tina and her committee working hard to bring a variety of acts to the club, more details to follow, check out our website for more info and photos.
