Junior Hurling

Cnoc Sion 1-07

De La Salle 2-14

The  Junior B Hurling Championship resumed in a rain soaked Walsh Park against De La Salle in Walsh Park on Saturday, the going was tough for both sides in the atrocious conditions and the Gracedieu men coped better winning the game on a scoreline of 2-14 to 1-07, thanks to everyone involved and best wishes for 2019.

Retirement

Tributes flooded in during the week for Ian “Iggy” O’Regan who announced his retirement from inter county hurling during the week, best wishes to a popular clubman who is always very generous with his time and advice helping out our younger players.

Under 12’s

Well done to our Under 12’s who won the Danesfort tournament on Sunday last beating Slieverue and Ballraggett to claim the trophy, these young lads have done very well on their travels this year and are a credit to their families and coaches.

Camogie

Unfortunateley the blitzes planned for this weekend were called off due to the inclement weather,        Under 8 training Mondays 6-7 in Carrickpherish Hall, Gracedieu €2
Under 12 training Tuesday 7-8 & Saturday 12-1 in Mount Sion GAA grounds

Deise Draw

Tickets are still available for October’s final Deise draw of 2018 from all the usual sources or contact club co-ordinator Kenny Stafford.

Our club house is the perfect venue for all your needs.
