Annual General Meeting
The 2018 Annual General meeting took place in the club on Sunday last and as usual it was very well attended, the reports from all the club officers were well presented and well received from the floor, tributes were paid to Anthony Kirwan who is stepping down after eight years of sterling service as Development Officer, Seamie Cleere who also stepped down from his role on the Eastern Board was praised for his hard work and professionalism in the role, best wishes were extended to Ian O’Regan following his retirement from Inter county hurling in 2018 and to Nicholas Mackey who will be involved with the Inter county Camogie team for 2019,Officers for 2019

It was then onto the various management teams with John Meaney continuing on for 2019 and paying tribute to his two outgoing selectors Roy and Eoin McGrath who are stepping down

Finally special thanks to our dedicated bar manager Michael Ryan and his hard working staff and Club Chairman Peter Walsh concluded the AGM wishing all our members and families a Happy Christmas and for 2019 to be a successful year both on and off the pitch for all Mount Sion people.
Condolences
The club wishes to extend its sympathies to Luke O’Brien and family on the death of his aunt Geraldine O’Brien in Dublin during the week, condolences at this sad time from all in Mount Sion, ar Dheis de go raibh a h-anam.
Prizegiving
There was great excitement in the club on Saturday last as our Under 6-11 age groups in both hurling and camogie recieved their medals for 2018, well done to all our future stars and thanks to all our coaches and mentors for all the hard work throughout the year, photos are up on the club facebook page and the website.

The Club camogie gear is now available to order instore at Azzurri, get your orders in soon as this could prove to be quite a popular stocking filler this year.
Mount Sion Clubhouse
Our club house is the perfect venue for all your needs. If you have a family event coming up we can cater for all size parties from small private events to large gatherings, we have a spacious function room with private bar available for hire for all occasions including Birthdays, Christenings, Weddings, Confirmations, Communions, etc, please contact our Bar Manager Michael Ryan for more information on 051-372648 or call up and see him.
