The Seniors got the League campaign off to a winning start on Monday morning last with a victory against Passage in the club, a competitive first half saw the visitors go down to fourteen men though this wasn’t reflected on the scoreboard with both sides going in at 0-06 apiece, the second half saw Sion take advantage of the numerical superiority and finish out the game on a comfortable margin of 0-18 to 0-10.Cnoc Sion 0-17
Clonea 0-17
Five days later on Saturday newly promoted Clonea were the visitors to the club and in a tough physical game which could have gone either way both sides had to settle for a share of the points, John and his team will be satisfied with the workrate and effort as they get ready for the Championship games coming up.Senior Championship
Due to Waterford’s great run to the National League final next Sunday the first round of the Senior Club Championship has now been deferred until the following week when game two was down for decision, further details of the re-scheduled game will be posted as soon as they are available.
Deise Draw
The Deise draw for 2019 will commence on April 24th and continue the last Wednesday of every month for six months. Tickets as normal are €15 per month or €90 for the year. Fully paid up members will automatically get a ticket for all draws. We would encourage where possible that members also try to sell one ticket as this is a huge source of fundraising for the club. The yoga was a great success on Thursday night last with a good attendance , it continues this Thursday from 7.15-8.15pm.This is a donation-based class taken by fully qualified instructor Jess Rowell, bring your own mats if you have one, they can be bought in TK Maxx for €10.

Last Man Standing
There was no Last Man Standing this week due to the International break and it resumes with next weekend’s full Premier League programme of games, be sure to get your team into Eoin Sauvage before Thursday.Camogie
The Under 12-14s are back training in the Astro turf in Mount Sion from 6-7 on Mondays and Fridays, our Under 8-10s are still in Carrickpherish hall for another few weeks.Ladies Football
