Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

Under 14 Hurling

The Under 14’s were in action on Saturday morning in the County Final against Fourmilewater in Fraher Field hoping to add another title in this age group, though Sion went into the break a point up the Nire Valley outfit used their physical superiority to good effect and ran out winners by a seven point margin, tough luck to the lads but this young outfit have been outstanding all year and a credit to their families and coaches.

GAA World Games

The GAA World games are coming to Waterford at the end of July and Mount Sion are proud to be hosting  the Heartland Division teams, as part of this we will be holding a cultural evening for our guests in the club on Tuesday July 30th, music will be from Three for the Road and all are welcome.

Entertainment

Some nights of entertainment coming up in the club, on Saturday July 27th we have Dick & Dave providing the tunes and on Sunday July 28th  following the senior game Reverb will be on from 6-8pm.

Cul Camps

The annual GAA Cul Camps take place in Mount Sion this year from July 22nd to 26th, bookings are now being taken online and with Peter, for more details regarding bookings etc please see the website or contact our club co-ordinator Peter Walsh. Kelloggs Cul Camps

Deise Draw

June’s Deise draw took place recently and Mount Sion had another winner to keep up our good run in 2019, tickets are still available for the draws from all the usual outlets.

Mount Sion Clubhouse

Our club house is the perfect venue for all your needs.
