Under 19 Hurling

The re-arranged Under 19 Championship game took place in Carriganore under lights on Friday night last, on a cold night the hurling warmed up everyone there with Sion playing some excellent hurling and they were unlucky not to win the game in ordinary time, in extra time however Sion got on top finally and they ran out winners on a five point margin to set up a meeting on Saturday next with Ballygunner.

Club Gear

Austin in association with Balon Sports has designed some nice new club gear in Junior and Adult sizes, items are available in packs and also on their own, deadline for Christmas delivery is next weekend and there will be a fitting day towards the end of the week where samples will be available to try on for sizes.For prices and packs please see the club facebook page.

Rory’s Stories

Rory O’Conor aka Rory’s Stories brings his comedy sketch show to the club November on 29th at 8:30, a great night of comedy and stories is guaranteed, tickets are €20 and will be available from Tuesday onwards behind the bar or by contacting any of the following

Entertainment

This Saturday November 16th we have the Joe Dolan Tribute show in the club, this always proves a very popular act in the club and we look forward to seeing a big crowd up there on the night.

Camogie

Training for 4-10 group in Carrickpherish Hall Mondays 6-7pm,  €2 per child or €3 for families. The older group (11-15) have finished up training for the year. We want to thank both the girls and their coaches for their participation and great effort all season. They will be back in the new year. There are still a few camogie hats available to buy. Circuit Training

As part of our health and well being programme Circuit Training with Mikey Daykin and Evan Curran continues in the downstairs hall in Mount Sion Centre on Tuesday @7pm. €5 a class. Please confirm your name and book a place with Michael Power on 086 175 8798. Over 18’s only.

Health and Wellbeing

Coming up on Monday 2nd December – ‘Safe Talk’ course will take place, this is a training initiative around suicide prevention and mental health promotion and will be limited to 30 places. More details in the coming weeks.

Bingo

Bingo continues in the club this Thursday night, doors at 7 and eyes down at 8! Please see the poster for more details.

Mount Sion Clubhouse

Our club house is the perfect venue for all your needs.
