Annual General Meeting
The A.G.M. for 2019 took place in the club on Saturday last and as usual there was a large and attentive attendance, proceedings ran smoothly with all reports being presented professionally by the relevant officers, special tributes were paid on the night to outgoing Chairman Peter Walsh as he steps down from the role after six years, Peter was a tireless worker for the club and put in tremendous effort to ensure everything ran smoothly in every area of the club and it was shown in the appreciation shown by the membership, Peter thanked everyone and recounted some of the highlights of his tenure and promised to help his successor Seamie Cleere as he steps up to chairman, Seamie brings a wealth of experience to the role having being involved in various areas of GAA administration over the years and we wish him all the best going forward, the following are the Executive Committee for 2019-Life President – Phil Fanning

Congratulations
It was a match of a different kind for our longstanding First Aid man Vinny O’Neill on Saturday last as he tied the knot with Mary Lyons in the Haven in Dunmore East, best wishes to the happy couple for the years ahead from everyone in Mount Sion.

Stephens Day Quiz
The annual St. Stephen’s Day sports quiz will take place in the club as is traditional on the 26th, more details next week.Christmas Day Swim
The annual Galgey family Christmas Day swim is taking place once again in Tramore, this year proceeds will be going to Assissi House which is a most worthy cause, sponsorship cards are available from any family member.
Bingo
Last Bingo of the year in the club this Thursday night, thanks to everyone who has helped make it a huge success, doors at 7 and eyes down at 8! Please see the poster for more details.Mount Sion Clubhouse
