Happy New Year

As we start a new year and decade in 2020 and say goodbye to 2019 we would like to wish our members, friends and families a Happy New Year and that it will be successful both on and off the pitch for everyone involved in our great club, as we reflect on the past year there were many highs and lows but as a club we always look forward to a new year with optimism and 2020 should be no different.

Congratulations

Congratulations to senior player Peter Penkert and Shauna Roche on the birth over Christmas of their daughter Pippa, everyone in the club is delighted for Peter and Shauna on their new arrival.

Condolences

It was with deep sadness we heard of the sudden passing of Dick Hayes over the Christmas period, many of Dick’s extended family are involved with the club and Dick himself played many times at events in the club over the years, to Dick’s family and friends we extend our deepest sympathies at this sad time, ar Dheis De go raibh a anam.

 

Operation Transformation

New year, new you, Operation Transformation comes to the club once more for 2020, 5k walk starting Monday 6th January with registration starting at 6.30. €2 a walk with walk starting at 7pm sharp, proceeds going to local charity

Mount Sion Clubhouse

Our club house is the perfect venue for all your needs. If you have a family event coming up we can cater for all size parties from small private events to large gatherings, we have a spacious function room with private bar available for hire for all occasions including Birthdays, Christenings, Weddings, Confirmations, Communions, etc, please contact our Bar Manager Michael Ryan for more information on 051-372648 or call up and see him.
