Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

Operation Transformation

The first week of the Operation Transformation 5k walk last Monday night was very well attended with a large group turning out on a mild January night, thanks to everyone who took part and week two is on this Monday January 13th with registration at 6-45pm and the walk starting at 7-15pm sharp, looking forward to seeing another good crowd up for it, registration €2 in a aid of Assisi House.

Circuit Training

Mount Sion has been accepted into phase four of the GAA Healthy Club project and as well as the 5k walk we will have circuits returning this Tuesday January 14th at 7pm in the clubhouse, over 18’s only, €5 fee.

Ladies Football

Our Ladies Footballers are starting training in the Astroturf again this Friday from 5-30 to 6-30pm, open to girls from 15 to Minor, why not come up and give it a try, new members always welcome.

Bingo

Bingo in the clubhouse started back last week and continues this Thursday, doors at seven and eyes down at eight, all are welcome.

Mount Sion Clubhouse

Our club house is the perfect venue for all your needs. If you have a family event coming up we can cater for all size parties from small private events to large gatherings, we have a spacious function room with private bar available for hire for all occasions including Birthdays, Christenings, Weddings, Confirmations, Communions, etc, please contact our Bar Manager Michael Ryan for more information on 051-372648 or call up and see him.
