Mount Sion GAA Club Notes
Senior Hurling League
Cnoc Sion 0-20
Ballygunner 1-21
The first Senior competitive game of the year saw Sion make the short journey across town to McGinn park to take on Ballygunner, playing with the wind in the first half Sion made the most of that advantage with the dependable Martin O’ Neill on free taking duties and some nice points across the forward line making them well worth their five point lead at the break, half time score Cnoc Sion 0-15 Ballygunner 1-07, after the water break in the second half the home side pushed on with a number of unanswered points and eventually ran out four point winners, next up in the league is a home tie against Lismore on Saturday night.Under 11
