Senior Hurling League

Cnoc Sion 0-27

Passage 2-11

The Seniors played their third game in this year’s league making the short trip out to Passage on Saturday, the hosts started well but Sion responded well and an impressive second half performance saw them finish up with 27 points on the board with scores coming from all areas of the pitch, we have a break now before the Championship starts in September.

New Baby

Congratulations to Eric Hoban and Sarah-Jane O’Sullivan on the birth during the week of their daughter Ellie, both mother and baby are doing well and we wish them all the best for the future!

Camogie

Training for our younger girls Under 4-12’s goes ahead on Mondays 6-7, Dungarvan travel down to us on Tuesday evening at 6.30 for Under 14 championship while on Thursday our Under 12’s play Ballyduff Upper at 7pm in Mount Sion also. Best of luck to all our girls and their coaches. Training also for our girls 10-16 on Thursday evening 6-7.
New members always welcome, please complete the health questionnaire before coming up, each child must have their own water bottle. We ask all parents to adopt the drop and go policy and maintain social distance at all times.

Ladies Football

The Ladies footballers played their first game of the year in the club and in front of a supportive crowd they put in a spirited performance against St Olivers scoring three goals in the process, they are at home again on Wednesday when they face Tramore in the club at 7-30pm.

Deise Super Draw

This year’s Deise draw will start on July 27th this instead of the 14th as advertised on the poster. The Deise Draw is the Club’s biggest annual fundraiser, 70% of ticket sales stay with the club. Please contact our Club co-ordinator Kenny Stafford or Peter Walsh for tickets. Many thanks for your ongoing support.

Well Kids

It was another busy morning in the club on Saturday as our Wellkids nursery took place as well as an Under 10 blitz, our Under 10’s had three brilliant games against Butlerstown, Clonea and Stradbally. Thanks to all those clubs and parents for a great morning’s hurling.

Juvenile Training

Coaching for our ROCS (Réaltaí Óga Cnoc Síon) older kids continues from 11am on Saturday mornings, under 8’s,9’s,,10s and 11’s (born in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013) and 11.30 for our under 7’s (Born in 2014)
