Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

Club House

With Covid levels very high at the moment we would like to remind all members that vaccination certs must be produced on entrance to Club Centre, also you or a member of your party must also sign in and provide a mobile phone number, each and every time you leave your seat you MUST wear a mask, please don’t take umbrage when you’re asked for your cert, these measures are to ensure we can stay open safely for all our members and patrons, thank you for your understanding.

Junior Football

On Friday night a few hardy souls braved the elements to see our Junior Footballers reach another Eastern Final as they overcame Butlerstown in Carriganore, well done to all involved and best of luck in the final.

Halloween Party

A great time was had by all our young hurlers on Saturday morning as they dressed up for the annual Halloween party, there were some brilliant costumes on display from both the players and coaches, check out social media for some great photos.

Camogie

Training for our Under 9-12 group tomorrow (Monday) 6-7pm, our Under 15’s will train Tuesday 6-7pm
All girls train Thursday 6-7pm
Hard luck to our Under 13 girls who bowed out of the championship on Monday last against Gailltír. Well done to everyone for their efforts.

Healthy Club Walk

Our Healthy Club walk continues again this Tuesday, thanks to Tina for all the hard work she puts in every week, walk starts at 7pm and there will be a bucket on the night for donations to help buy a new lawnmower for the community playground.

Deise Super Draw

  The next Deise Super Draw takes place this Wednesday November 3rd, tickets are still available for the remaining draws from Kenny Stafford or any member of the committee.

Juvenile Training

Coaching for our ROCS (Réaltaí Óga Cnoc Síon) older kids continues from 11am on Saturday mornings,  under 8’s,9’s,,10s and 11’s (born in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013) and 11.30 for our under 7’s (Born in 2014)
 New members always welcome, playground and cafe on site for families!
