Mount Sion GAA Club Notes
Under 20 Hurling
Healthy Club Status
The aim of the Healthy Club Project is to place the GAA Club at the heart of the community and to ensure that everyone who engages with the Club benefits from the experience in a health-enhancing way, be they the players, coaches, parents, committee members or members of our community.
This award is the culmination of many things over the last few years; Operation Transformation Walks, Christmas Food Hamper Appeals, Ball2Wall Fundraiser, Fitness Classes, Yoga Classes, Playground, Wild Willow Cafe and the emergence of both the Camoige and Ladies Football Club.
The hard work won’t stop here and we will continue to engage with our community and members to keep Mount Sion a ‘Healthy Club’
A big thank you to the Healthy Club Team for all their hard work over the last two years, especially to our Heathy Club Officer Michael Power who has been the driving force behind the initiative in the club.
Finally, a big thank you to the Mount Sion Community for their continued support.
