Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

Camogie

Huge congratulations to our Under 15 Feile Shield champions who won in Celbridge on Saturday, the club are so proud of your achievements. Well done to their fantastic coaches too for their hard work and efforts all year. Thanks to all who travelled to give support on such a great day for our club.
Our Under 12 girls won their championship game on Thursday night against St Declan’s from Ardmore, brilliant effort all round and well done to all.
Our Under 8 and Under 10 girls were invited out to Mooncoin on Wednesday last for a mini blitz, great fun was had by all. Thanks to Mooncoin for having us.
Congratulations to Presentation primary school on their win last week, Mount Sion camogie was well represented on the team.

Below are the camogie training days/time.
4-6s – Saturday mornings with the Cúl blue academy.
7-8s + 9-10s – Mondays from 6-7pm in the alley and all weather.
12s – Mondays from 7:15 to 8.15pm in the alley and the all weather.
13s – Wednesdays from 7-8.30pm in the alley and the all weather.

Under 15s – Tuesdays from 6-7pm in the alley and the all weather.
Please bring hurleys and helmets.
New girls always welcome.

Senior League

The Seniors finished off their good league campaign in style on Sunday morning last with a victory over Ballygunner in the club, a large crowd attended on a fine morning for hurling, next game is the League final, details will be posted when it becomes available.

Bingo Night

A bingo night in aid of the Under 15 Feile trip takes place in the club this Thursday June 2nd, looking forward to seeing all our regulars up there, full details on the poster.

Cul Blues

Cúl Blues Academy for 4-6 boys and girls continues Saturday in the club. New boys and girls always welcome.
Please take note of the arrangements for different age groups,
Under 4’s ( kids born 2018 ) 10-10:45 ball alley

Under 5’s ( kids born 2017)
10-11 Astro turf
 no equipment needed
Under 6’s ( kids born 2016)
10-11 Astro turf
Hurleys & helmets please (these can be provided for training if child hasn’t got any)
Wild willow cafe will also be on site.

Juvenile Training

 Juvenile training has returned on Saturday mornings, Fun Hurling Coaching for our under 7’s and 8’s boys group is at 11am (those born in 2015 and 2014), followed by our under 9’s and 10’s at 12pm (those born in 2013 and 2012).
