Senior Hurling Championship

The Seniors got their 2022 campaign underway on Sunday last in Fraher Field against Abbeyside, a professional performance all around the pitch resulted in an empathetic victory and a brilliant start to the season, the focus now turns to next weeks second group game against Tallow in the same venue .

Junior A Hurling

Passage 3-16

A high scoring game in Walsh Park on Thursday last saw the Juniors A’s register a good first win in this year’s campaign against a stubborn Passage side, well done lads next game is against Fenor on Saturday next in Tramore at 7pm.

Family Fun Day

The Mount Sion Family Fun Day takes place this year on Saturday August 6th in the club from 12 to 3pm, a great day’s fun for all the family is guaranteed, see the poster and social media for further details.

Last Man Standing

The new Premier League season is nearly upon us and as is customary we will be running a Last Man Standing fundraiser, prize is €600 with an entry fee of €10, closing date is Thursday 4th August at 9pm, enter by texting Owen Sauvage (087- 9706387) , payment by revolut or leave behind the bar, all monies raised will go to towards the Hurling club, full table and rules will be available on the page on the website.

Camogie

Well done to our Under 8 & Under 10 girls who took part in a blitz on Saturday morning last, brilliant effort by everyone and fantastic to see the girls improving each time, huge thanks to Gaultier for hosting the goodie bags were a huge success, thanks also to Portlaw for a great match.

Below are the camogie training days/time.

Under 4-6’s – Saturday mornings with the Cúl blue academy.
Under 7-8’s + 9-10’s – Mondays from 6-7pm in the alley and all weather.
Under 12’s – Mondays from 7:15 to 8.15pm in the alley and the all weather.
Under 13’s – Wednesdays from 7-8.30pm in the alley and the all weather.

Under 15’s – Tuesdays from 6-7pm in the alley and the all weather.
Please bring hurleys and helmets.

Cul Blues

Cúl Blues Academy for 4-6 boys and girls continues Saturday in the club. New boys and girls always welcome.

Hurleys & helmets please (these can be provided for training if child hasn’t got any)

Juvenile Training

 Juvenile training has returned on Saturday mornings, Fun Hurling Coaching for our under 7’s and 8’s boys group is at 11am (those born in 2015 and 2014), followed by our under 9’s and 10’s at 12pm (those born in 2013 and 2012).
