Win A House Draw

The Win A House Draw took place on Sunday last and congratulations to the winner on a life changing prize, thanks to everyone in the club who bought tickets to help support the County team and the Waterford Rising project.

 

Condolences

Deepest sympathies from Mount Sion GAA Club to the O’Regan family on the sad passing of Alan last week, our thoughts are with Nicky, Ger, Mark, Ian and the extended family at this sad time, ar Dheis De go raibh a anam.

 

Mount Sion Golf Classic

The Mount Sion Golf Classic takes place this year over two days on May 19th and 20th in Waterford Golf Club, it promises to be a great day out, €120 per team with food included, sponsorship is welcome,  please see the poster or contact Kenny Stafford for more details.

Training Times

Under 4-6’s – Saturday mornings with the Cúl blue academy.
Under 7-8’s + 9-10’s – Mondays from 6-7pm in the alley and all weather.
Under 12’s – Mondays from 7:15 to 8.15pm in the alley and the all weather.
Under 13’s – Wednesdays from 7-8.30pm in the alley and the all weather.

Under 15’s – Tuesdays from 6-7pm in the alley and the all weather.
Our Under 12 girls play a challenge game against Gailltír at 6.15pm in Mount Sion on Monday evening.
The last game for our Under 16 girls for a few months takes place on Thursday in Abbeyside at 6.30 against Abbeyside. Good luck to all involved
On Saturday our Under 14 girls have a challenge game against Tramore in Tramore GAA at 3.30pm
Please bring hurleys and helmets.

Last Man Standing

Another six players left the competition this week with only one player left with both lives! Don’t forget to have your teams into Owen by 7pm on Thursday night.

 

Foodbank Collection

Our Healthy Club in association with Waterford Foodbank are holding a May Bank Holiday food collection in the club this coming Saturday 29th April, all non perishable foodstuffs are welcome, our Healthy Club committee will be collecting from 10am to 2pm on the day.

Deise Draw

Tickets for the 2023 Deise Draw are now available, the draw starts in May and and tickets are available from all the usual sources.
