Mount Sion GAA Club Notes
John Keane & Mary Meade Tounaments
What a day we had on Saturday to celebrate and remember two of Mount Sion’s finest, Mary Meade and John Keane, our Under 6’s and 7’s played an entertaining round of blitz games while the Under 8 and 9’s battled it out for the John Keane Cup, a great day was had by all and it was a fitting tribute to two people who gave so much to Mount Sion, well done to all the boys and thanks to everyone who helped out on the day.Condolences
It was with sadness during the week we heard of the passing of Nuala Maher, Nuala was a well known figure around the club that anybody who passed through the Social Centre in the last thirty years would’ve known, to her family and friends we extend our deepest sympathies. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sí.
Minor Hurling
Best wishes to our Minors as they start the first round of the Championship against Clan na Gael in Fenor on Wednesday, Ned and his team have been working hard all through the last few months and we’d love to see a big Mount Sion support on Wednesday to cheer them on.Camogie
