Senior Hurling Championship
After all the long months of preparation the 2023 Senior Hurling Championship is finally upon us, Formilewater provide the opposition for the first group game in Mollerans on Friday evening, best of luck to everyone involved for the campaign ahead and we look forward to seeing a good turnout in Carrickbeg on Friday,Tickets are now available online for the Senior games and the Junior A games. There is also an option for a Club Season Ticket for the price of 200 euro. This is available online. Link for all tickets below.
Golden Goal
Thanks to everyone who took part in our All Ireland Golden Goal competition, all monies raised will go back into the juvenile club, well done to Clare Barry and Michael “Pugs” Power who both scooped €300 thanks to an early Kilkenny goal!Camogie
Our Under 14 girls had a great win over Abbeyside on Sunday morning in the Championship, our Under 12 girls take on St Declan’s of Ardmore at 7pm on Thursday evening in Mount Sion, all are welcome.Well done to our Under 10 girls who played Ferrybank on Friday evening, a great couple of games for all involved.
Well done to our Under 8 girls who participated in the Butlerstown blitz on Sunday morning also, thanks to Butlerstown for a great day.
Lastly huge congratulations to Sean Power, Philly Flynn and all the Waterford Camogie girls on reaching the All Ireland final after a thriller in Nowlan Park, great to see such fantastic support from Mount Sion up there on the day, the club will be running a bus on the day, details to follow.
Below are the camogie training days/time.
Under 4-6’s, – Saturday mornings with the Cúl blues academy.
Under 7-8’s & 9-10s – Mondays from 6-7pm in the alley and all weather.
Under 10’s – Fridays 6-7 in the astro
Under 12’s – Mondays from 7:15 to 8.15pm in the alley and the all weather.
Under 13’s – Wednesdays from 7-8.30pm in the alley and the all weather.
Under 15’s – Tuesdays from 6-7pm in the alley and the all weather.
Please bring hurleys and helmets.

Minor Hurling
Another good result this week for our Fairway Coaches sponsored Minor hurlers as they overcame Ballyduff Upper in the club on Wednesday, the lads have a big game in the club on Thursday when Ballygunner are the visitors and a big support for Ned and the lads would be great to see on the night!Junior Hurling
Both our Junior teams are in action this week in their respective Championships, our Junior B’s hope to continue on where they left off after Friday’s win over St Mollerans when they take the short journey out to Ballygunner on Thursday evening while our Junior A’s take on Clonea in Tramore on Saturday, a lot of work has gone into both these squads and we wish them all the best for the year.Fixtures
