Mount Sion GAA Club Notes
Minor Hurling
The Minors finished their brilliant season on Friday night under the lights in Carriganore with an appearance in the County Final against Ballygunner, Sion took their scores and were competitive throughout but Ballygunner kept their noses in front the whole game keeping the scoreboard ticking over and ran out winners by a number of points in the end, though the result was not what they wanted it was an excellent campaign this year and bodes well for the future with a young squad gaining plenty of experience, thanks to Fairway Coaches for their continued sponsorship and to everyone who helped out with the team.Junior A Hurling
It’s a big night on Monday for the Junior A’s as they take on Roanmore in the eastern Final, throw in is at 6pm in St Saviours and tickets are available from Junior Final, best of luck to all involved!Danny Bowe Tournament

So many people to thank in making this day happen and we are grateful to each and everyone of you. Our sponsors for the event were Trade Electric Group, Fidel Astro and Sean Power. To everyone who helped on the day we count have done it without you.
Finally thank you to Patrick and the Bowe family for allowing us to honour Danny each year. It’s an absolute honour for us to represent him in both camogie and Mount Sion, we hope our club is doing his memory justice.
