Annual General Meeting
The 2023 AGM took place on Sunday last November 26th, a large attendance as usual was present as the club went through the previous year both on and off the pitch with some lively discussions taking place, the Executive for 2024 is as followsLife President – Phil Fanning

Senior Player Martin ‘Blondie” O’Neill, a leader on and off the field Martin was consistent all yearYoung Player – Jack Kirwan, Jack had an excellent campaign at Minor and brought his good form into the Under 20 Championship. pace skill and knows where the posts are, Jack will be one to watch for the future.
Junior A Hurler – Cian O’Regan, Cian played several different roles throughout the year. From defending to scoring Cian gave his all, one of the standout moments was the first Ballydurn game where he reduced a draw with a last minute 21 yard free to raise the green flag , an unstoppable shot.
Junior B Hurler – Conor Malone, though still in his twenties Conor is a seasoned performer, Conor was consistent all year in all matches playing in various roles, Conor is dedicated to training and could easily play at a higher level. Intermediate Football – Jamie Gleeson, Jamie worked hard in every game, running up and down the pitch making himself available and unselfish in his play. Junior C Football – Josh Fanning, Josh was outstanding all year never missing a training session, Josh scored from play consistently in every game, next year Josh should be making a push to play on the Intermediate team.

Foodbank Collection
Mount Sion GAA are working once again with Waterford Food Bank to help create food parcels for vulnerable families in Waterford this Christmas. Our annual food drive will take place in Mount Sion GAA club on Saturday 2nd Dec 2023 and Saturday 9th Dec 2023. All non- perishable goods are welcome.
Time 10am to 1pm on both days

12 Draws of Christmas
The club are running the Annual ’12 draws of Christmas’. 12 euro entry with 100 euro winner for each of the 12 days. Each draw will be streamed live on our Facebook channel. First draw is Tuesday 12th December. Tickets can now be purchased through the Club Force website.
