Senior Hurling Championship

De La Salle

The second round of this year’s Senior Hurling Championship saw Sion once again take the short journey to Walsh Park to take on local rivals De La Salle, following the previous weeks good result Sion went into this game hoping to qualify top of the group, the first half Sion played against the wind and eight points from Austin Gleeson and an Adam Regan goal saw them go into the break two points to the good , Cnoc Sion 1-11 De La Salle 1-09, DLS started the second half the stronger and looked like they were going to pull away but Sion got back into the game and in a dramatic ending finished out the game on a 2-17 to 2-16 score line to secure their place as group winners , brilliant performance and well done to everyone involved!

Deise Draw

The second Deise Draw of 2024 takes place on August 2nd, tickets are still available from all the usual sources.

Family Fun Day

Despite the bad weather earlier on in the day the sun came out for our Family Fun Day in the club, a great day was had by all with something for everyone! Big thanks to everybody who helped on the day to make it the great success it was !

Mount Sion Summer Camp

We are running our annual Summer Camp this year on Wednesday 14th August for 3 days, time 10-2, cost €30, age from 7-12 years, contact Michael Power for details.
