Under 12 City League
The Under 12 City League Gala Blitz finally took place in Carraiganore last Saturday. The boys were victories during the league section with some great performances against top teams. The boys played 3 games on the day and team Captain Ben Sinnott received the Division 1 Cup from Vice Chairman of the City League Liam Cheasty. Well done to all the players and management for their great performances throughout the year.
Junior Football
Best of luck to the Junior Footballers who take on Tallow in the County Final next Sunday the 24th October in Walsh Park at 2pm. So come along and cheer on the lads and come back to the club after the game for some craic agus ceol!!
Under 7 & 6s
The Under 6 & 7s travelled to Abbyside to take part in their annual tournament over the weekend. The boys put in some great displays and we would like to thank Abbyside for their invitation.
Junior & Senior Infant’s Training
Hurling coaching for boys in Junior and Senior Infants will move from the School Yard to the All Weather Pitch at the club grounds at Marian Park every Saturday Morning from 12 noon to 1pm. All are welcome especially new players. Hurleys and helmets are provided for those that need them. If you need any further information please contact Peter Walsh or myself on the below number.
Deise Draw
The next Deise draw takes place on 29th October. There are great prizes including a top prize of €10,000. This is the second last draw of the year so if you haven’t already got your tickets please do so by contacting Josie Evans or behind the bar or any member of the fundraising committee. Tickets are €10 each. A special thanks to all who support the draw as it is of great benefit to our club.
Darts & Cards
Have an interest in playing Darts or Cards?? Come along and join in the fun. The Darts takes place every Thursday night with Cards on Friday nights, both starting around 10pm. Great prizes on offer!! Newcomers are always welcome.
Entertainment
During October the following music entertainment takes place at the Club Centre on Saturday nights. All are welcome.
