Friday night last saw a huge crowd in Treacy’s Hotel for the Gary Anderson darts exhibition in aid of the club, two time World Champion Gary came to Waterford as part of his rescheduled Irish tour and he didn’t disappoint his many fans in the region, the night started with a question and answer session for the VIP ticket holders followed by a meet and greet where the Flying Scotsman posed for photos and signed autographs, after this it was on to the main event where Gary took on 22 local players from every age group where he showed some of the form that brought him within a whisker of his third World title last week. The club would like to thank everyone who helped make this night a huge success and to all the sponsors who were once again most generous. Special praise must go out to Kenny Stafford and Nicholas Mackey who organised this whole event on behalf of the club and whose efforts ensured everything on the night went off without a hitch. Development Scheme
