Junior A Hurling
The Junior A Hurlers continued their good run of form against Bunmahon in Kill on Saturday night last as they overcame the challenge of the Seasiders to win by a seven point margin, final score Cnoc Sion 2-13 Bunmahon 1-09, this result now means Pappy’s charges have qualified for the eastern final details of which have not yet been arranged.Tony Forristal Tournament
The 2017 Tony Forristal tournament took place on Saturday and once again the club was one of the host venues, as usual everything on the day went like clockwork in no small part due to all the hard work of everyone involved in the running of the tournament, thanks to all involved and we look forward to 2018 already.All Ireland Raffle
There was huge interest in this year’s raffle which took place on Saturday night following the Tony forristal, winner of the All Ireland hurling tickets and €150 was James “Smiley” Ryan, winner of the All Ireland football tickets and €150 was Christine Galgey thanks to Nuala Maher and Betty Forristal who drew the tickets on the night .All Ireland
With the excitement building towards next week’s game keep an eye on the usual social media outlets where we hope to have some special features and look back in time as we head towards the big day !
Minor Hurling
The Minor Hurling championship continues on Wednesday night when the lads make the journey to take on Dungarvan, throw in is at the earlier time of 6-45 , best of luck to all involved.Fixtures

All Ireland Day
A great day is planned in the club for All Ireland Sunday with the game being shown on the big screens and a chicken dinner being served at approximately 1-30, the atmosphere will be the next best thing to being at Croke Park, prices at €20 Adult chicken dinner plus 3 drinks, €7 child’s chicken dinner, or €10 Adult chicken dinner, tickets available from behind the bar.Deise Draw
August’s Deise draw took place recently and unfortunately we had no winners this time around, tickets for the next draws are still available from behind the bar or from Kenny Stafford.Mount Sion Clubhouse
