Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

Camogie

Hard luck to our Under 12 girls who were beaten by Clonea in the semi final on Thursday night last. They played a great game & gave us a great chance in the championship all year. Well done on their achievement for coming so far & of course to their coaches too. The girls are all taking a well earned break from training now for a while.
The younger group (4-10) are back training Monday evening 6-7 in the AstroTurf in Mount Sion. New players always welcome.

We are taking part in the street clean-up on Wednesday night at 6pm in Carriganore and look forward to seeing plenty of helpers there.
Preparations are under way for the Danny Bowe Memorial Tournament 2019 at the moment which takes place on Saturday 14th of September. Last year was a huge success and we are hoping this year to top that. More details to come soon.

Street Clean Up

The Tom Murphy Car Sales sponsored street clean-up continues this Wednesday in Carrickpherish at 6pm, we’ve had an excellent turnout from both our hurling and camogie players this year and we hope to see a good attendance this Wednesday.

Legends Game

Saturday August 31st in the club sees a team of Waterford Legends take on the Wexford 96 team in aid of the Little Blue Heroes Charity, a great game is in store with a 5pm throw in, please see the poster for further details.

Our club house is the perfect venue for all your needs.
