Mount Sion GAA Club Notes
Junior Football
Following a comprehensive win in Fenor on Saturday last against Bunmahon the Junior Footballers are once again in an Eastern final, the game takes place next weekend with Roanmore providing the opposition, details will be announced later on during the week regarding allocation of tickets and venue and time.Deise Draw
The second Deise Draw of 2020 took place in the club on Wednesday night last and unfortunately we weren’t able to match the good result of the first draw with no winners coming out, tickets are still available for the remaining draws and they are a vital source of revenue to clubs during this difficult period.Camogie
Training for our 4-10 group continues on Mondays in the astroturf in Mount Sion, please bring your own helmets, hurleys and water bottles, the health questionnaire form must be completed before coming up.Our Under 12 girls played Tallow on Saturday evening in the quarter final, they were very unfortunate to lose the game as it was a fantastic tough battle with both sides giving it their all, hard luck to our girls and coaches and a big thank you for a very short but exciting championship this year.
Training for the older girls (Under -13) on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-7pm.
New members are always welcome, contact the Facebook camogie page for details.
Last Man Standing
Last Man Standing continued this week with some shock results taking some of our players by surprise, the table will be updated on the website over the coming days so everyone can see how they’re doing, don’t forget to get your teams into Kenny before Friday.Fixtures
