Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

Cul Camps

The first of this year’s Cup camps was a massive success helped in no small part by the brilliant weather all week, the boys and girls had a great time and we look forward to seeing everyone again later on in August.

 

Camogie

 

Training for our younger girls 4-12’s on Mondays 6-7pm, training also for our girls 10-16’s on Tuesday and Thursday evening 6-7pm also. Our Under 14 team had a fantastic win over Brickey Rangers last Tuesday night, after conceding 3 early goals to Brickeys our girls bounced back to win with an unbelievable scoreline of 10-09 to 4-2, huge congratulations to all involved.
Our Under 12 girls play away to Tallow on Thursday evening at 7pm. Best of luck to all involved.

New members always welcome, please complete the health questionnaire before coming up, each child must have their own water bottle. We ask all parents to adopt the drop and go policy and maintain social distance at all times.

Ladies Football

The Ladies finish their campaign on Monday with a home tie against Ballysaggart in the club at 7-45pm, they will then take a break for a few weeks, keep an eye on the usual channels for when they return.

Deise Super Draw

This year’s Deise draw starts this Wednesday the 27th, thanks to everyone who has purchased their tickets and there is still time to get tickets before the draw. The Deise Draw is the Club’s biggest annual fundraiser, with 70% of ticket sales staying with the club. Please contact our Club co-ordinator Kenny Stafford or Peter Walsh for tickets. Many thanks for your ongoing support.
