Juvenile Finals

It’s a big week for our Under 13 and 15 hurlers as they take on Ballygunner in their respective Div 1 finals, on Monday the Under 13’s play at 4pm while on Wednesday the Under 15’s play at 7-30pm, both games take place in Walsh Park and are all ticket affairs, thanks to all our members who took up their allocation of tickets to ensure a big support on both days, best wishes to all involved from everyone in Mount Sion GAA club.

Deise Super Draw

The first Deise Super Draw of 2021 took place in the club on Tuesday night last and the club had a very popular  €2000 winner! Well done to Pappy Bowe c/o Kenny Stafford who had the nice little windfall, tickets are still available for the remaining draws from Kenny Stafford.

All Ireland Semi Final

Best wishes to Waterford and our own Austin Gleeson as they take on Limerick on Saturday next in the All Ireland semi-final after the excellent win against Tipperary on Saturday last.

Camogie

No training tomorrow (Monday) due to bank holiday, training Tuesday & Thursday for 13-16 group and Thursday for 9-12 group. Our Under 12 team were given a walkover from Tallow on Thursday last due to limited numbers.
Well done to our Under 14 county girls who had a great win over Tipperary on Saturday morning also, doing the club proud.

New members always welcome, please complete the health questionnaire before coming up, each child must have their own water bottle. We ask all parents to adopt the drop and go policy and maintain social distance at all times.

Well Kids

The Well Kids pilot programme has finished and the organisers would like to thank the co-ordinators, coaches and parents and everyone who helped out in the club to make it such a fun programme for our younger players.
