Mount Sion GAA Club Notes
Minor Hurling
Following on from the previous week’s results the Minors had two games again this week, a brilliant win against Clonea was dug out from four points down with minutes to go and unfortunately on Sunday morning the challenge posed by Portlaw/Ballyduff proved too much for this young team after a bright start, two more tough games in store for the lads this week as they take on Ballygunner and Abbeyside, best of luck to everyone involved.Junior A Hurling
The Junior A Hurling Championship got under way this week with two games within the space of three days, a hard fought draw in Walsh Park on Tuesday against Clonea was followed by a comprehensive victory against Passage on Friday, next up on Friday is local rivals Roanmore, like all games at this level this will be all ticket with the link being sent out during the week.Senior Championship

Unfortunately our Under 12’s missed out narrowly on a win against St. Mollerans on Thursday night but they also advance to the quarter finals, the girls played brilliantly and are a credit to their coaches.A busy weekend for our Under 10 & 8 girls who participated in the Modeligo blitz on Saturday morning.
