Mick Flan
We again with sadness must remember the late Mick Flannelly who passed away on Saturday last. Flan won 15 Senior Hurling and 4 Senior Football medals with Mount Sion, while also captaining the Waterford Minors of 48 to All Ireland glory. He was also on the great team of 59 and won a Senior All Ireland to go with 3 Munster and National League and Oireachtas medals. Mick also played Railway Cup with Munster. A stellar career making him the most decorated of all Waterford Hurlers. To his wife Patty, daughters Joanne and Críona as well as his wider family we offer our deepest condolences.
