Mount Sion GAA Club Notes
Junior A Hurling
It was quite the busy week for our Junior A Hurlers playing two finals in the space of five days, first up was the Eastern Final on Monday night in Carriganore against Roanmore, going into injury time at the end of the game the Cleaboy men led by a single point but some great work by Sion saw them grab two late, late goals to claim the Eastern Championship, final score Cnoc Sion 2-13 Roanmore 0-14, there was little time to celebrate as they were back on the pitch on Saturday in the County final against Brickey Rangers, Sion had the better of the first half going into the break two points up, the second half though saw Brickeys take control and finish off the stronger side to win the game, final score Cnoc Sion 1-14 Brickeys 3-18. Well done to all involved for a great year’s hurlingCamogie
