Mount Sion GAA Club Notes
Junior Football Final
Cnoc Sion 1-15
Shamrocks 1-09
Mount Sion are County Junior Football Champions for 2021! The final was played on Saturday in Lemybrien against a dogged Shamrocks side who fought for every score, there was nothing to separate the sides at half time with no quarter given from both sides, the second half saw Sion pull away helped by another man of the match performance from Martin F. O’Neill whose pinpoint accuracy kept the scoreboard ticking over, there were jubilant scenes at the final whistle with a return to the Intermediate ranks next year on the cards and also a trip to face the Limerick Champions in Munster on the Sunday before Christmas, well done to all involved and best of luck representing the county in a few weeks time!Christmas Foodbank
