Mount Sion GAA Club Notes
12 Draws of Christmas
Thanks to everyone who supported our end of year fundraiser the 12 Draws of Christmas, as usual we had an amazing response, the first draw was done on Sunday and well done to Daithi Drohan who won the first €100, tune into our facebook page as we stream the draw live every evening in the run up to Christmas.Billy Gaffney
The Mount Sion Club extends its sincerest sympathy to the Gaffney Family of Beechwood Avenue, Lower Grange on the death of Billy Gaffney. Billy won the county Minor Hurling Championship in 1946 and again with an exceptional club side in 1947. He went on to win senior titles in 1948 and 1949. As a bus driver with Kenneally’s, Johnstown he drove club teams and supporters all over the country for many years. May he rest in peace.Junior B Football
