Mount Sion GAA Club Notes
Senior Hurling
Cnoc Sion 3-18
Tallow 1-13
Round 2 of the Senior Championship took place on Saturday night in Fraher Field and following the previous weeks defeat nothing but a positive result would do, Tallow provided the opposition in a repeat of last year’s group game, the first half was a tentative affair with both sides battling to get points with Sion just edging the half going in a point up 0-10 to 0-09, Sion finally found their rhythm early in the second half raising the green flag twice and putting distance between themselves and Tallow finishing out the game comfortably on a score line of 3-18 to 1-13, next game is in a few weeks where they will be hoping to continue their good form.
