The sun shone on Saturday for our Annual Dicky Roche Under 10 Tournament and what a wonderful event it was.A big thank you to all of those who helped make it the wonderful event that it is. Thank you to Pauline, Tina, Betty and Belinda for the lovely catering, to Aimee for yet another top class programme, to John our piper who added greatly to the atmosphere. Thanks also to Michael and all of the bar staff for all of their help and to Jim Greene for his beautiful words about Dick Roche and for speaking to the boys and their coaches.
Well done to Tramore GAA, Abbeyside GAA and our own Under 10 team for the brilliant display of hurling provided on the day. All of the teams involved should be extremely proud of their attitude and skills.
A final word of thanks to the Roche family for coming today to present medals and trophies to all of the boys.
