Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

Under 20 Hurling

Following last weeks good win our Under 20’s were back in action on Saturday as once again Walsh Park was the venue with De La Salle providing the opposition, a tough game ensued with three DLS goals proving the difference between the sides, final score Cnoc Sion 0-13 De La Salle 3-13, tough luck lads.

Annual General Meeting

The 2024 Annual General Meeting has been set for Sunday November 24th at 2-20pm, as usual a large crowd is expected to discuss events both on and off the field over the course of the previous year.

Toy Drive

Saturday November 9th in the club will see a Toy Drive in the club, a very worthy initiative to help local families, please see poster or contact Michelle on 086 884 7947.

Club Mass

Our annual Club Mass for deceased members takes place in the Brother Rice chapel in Barrack Street on Thursday 21st November at 7pm, all members and friends are invited to attend.

 

Deise Draw 2024

 It’s been a good year for the club this year in the rise draw with a number of winners, there is just one more draw left for the year and tickets are still available from all the usual sources.
